If there is any belittling involved, it's because of how the male character in question present themselves and it is met with snark. Kathy uses the card to get some things she needs, but not to belittle any of the male characters involved. And well biker culture, if you consider that.) but she doesn't use the card to force down the narrative down our throats throughout the game. Disagree if you want about how the military/police treat their females in the force but it is a much better place there for females now than in the 90s. She does use the sexism card a bit to help progress some parts of the story (because considering the timeline (1990s), it is still a thing in some aspects but not very obvious.
